Can you share an example demo page?
Viblast Player should work with the videojs-overlay. Maybe the issue is related with your stream?
You cannot protect your streams by using such a solution. It is easy for pirates to remove the HTML elements during the playback. There are other solutions solving this - like DRM, encryption, etc...

use case: individual watermark per user (who is watching) so that pirates re-posting in public can be identified.
My understanding was that viBlast worked with videojs.....
