How to overlay text on player?

Can you share an example demo page?
Viblast Player should work with the videojs-overlay. Maybe the issue is related with your stream?
You cannot protect your streams by using such a solution. It is easy for pirates to remove the HTML elements during the playback. There are other solutions solving this - like DRM, encryption, etc...

My attempts to use it with viBlast are failing.
Is it even possible?
If so, any links, hints, clues, guides ...?
If not, does viBlast offer an alternative?
use case: individual watermark per user (who is watching) so that pirates re-posting in public can be identified.
My understanding was that viBlast worked with videojs.....
